What to see at the Book Fair today

The Book Fair is in full swing until November 27 at the Palais des Congrès. To help you make choices, here are our suggested activities.


A morning of stories for toddlers

Author and animator Tania Baladi invites children under 5 (and their parents) to her little cabin filled with books where she tells them stories filled with wonderful characters. Note that she will also be there on Friday and Sunday morning.

From 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Espace des tout-petits

Between light and literature

Between poetry and essay, comic strip and life story, the authors Mathieu Bélisle, Denise Desautels, Catherine Ocelot and Philippe Néméh-Nombré intend to explore, during the round table The elusive desire to livethis desire to live which emanates from their works and which leads to the courage necessary to get out of the darkness and find the light.

From 1:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m., at the Literary Space

At the heart of evils and words

How does literature tell of bodily ailments, healing, healing, and physical and psychological pain? Jennifer Bélanger, Martine Delvaux, Marianne Marquis-Gravel and Maya Cousineau-Mollen (who won the Governor General’s Award last week for her second collection of poetry, Children of the lichen) will discuss it around the round table How to tell our damaged bodies?.
