The Ukrainian Prime Minister said on Monday that his country had not received more than 16 billion euros in aid collected by Poland and the European Commission during two donor conferences in Warsaw in 2022, in the wake of the Russian invasion.

“These funds have been raised. According to our information, more than 10 billion euros at the first [conférence] and more than 6 billion in the second”said at a press conference in kyiv.

According to him, these funds “were raised by Poland with the European Commission for the support of Ukraine”. “We don’t know what happened to these funds. How were they spent, what did they support? Ukraine received nothing”continued the head of government.

Ukraine urges West to transfer frozen Russian assets

The Ukrainian Prime Minister has urged the West to transfer 300 billion euros of frozen Russian assets to kyiv to avoid elections in allied countries affecting support for Ukraine in the face of Moscow’s invasion.
