Timothée Discovers His Father’s Deception
After Victor’s shocking admission from the previous day, where he confessed to being both the lover and the murderer of Stéphanie Ratajski, Martin calls Carla in for her perspective on the situation. She acknowledges that her best friend’s secret affair with her husband had eluded her, but she finds it difficult to accept that Victor is the one responsible for the murder.
Martin further interrogates Victor, this time with his lawyer present, aiming to extract a full confession regarding the assault on Sidonie. Victor explains that when he visited Timothée at home, Sidonie was there, and he attacked her because she was trying to convince Timothée that he had killed Stéphanie. Determined to shield his son from the harsh truth, Victor pushed Sidonie, causing her to lose consciousness after hitting her head. He intended to call for help but abandoned that plan when Bart unexpectedly arrived.
Given these revelations, Martin announces that Victor will be formally charged. As Victor is led back to his cell, Raphaëlle confides in her partner, expressing her belief that her client is lying to protect his son. However, his narrative remains consistent and is treated as credible evidence. As Victor is escorted to the transport van, Raphaëlle attempts to reason with him, but he thanks her for her assistance and brushes her off.
Timothée is released from custody, and his mother is there to pick him up. She informs him that he has been cleared of any wrongdoing since his father has confessed to both the murder and the incident involving Sidonie. Eager to clear the air, Timothée rushes to the police station to tell Martin that his father was not present during the accident with Sidonie. Martin reminds him that his memory is unreliable and cannot be trusted.
Undeterred, Timothée believes his father has been framed and insists on joining Damien and Roxane in the investigation. They agree, but only if he takes full accountability for any inquiries from Martin. They also inform him that they are analyzing the threatening letter Sidonie received. Even if the letter contains Victor’s DNA, it does not appear to have originated from his printer. Timothée clings to this detail as evidence.
Meanwhile, at the hospital, Victoire and Noor make a crucial discovery from Sidonie’s blood test. Victoire rushes to inform Martin that Sidonie is hemophilic and typically requires medication to prevent severe bleeding from head injuries. However, further tests reveal the presence of anticoagulants in her system, which could be life-threatening. This leads Martin to suspect foul play, considering that someone may have tampered with Sidonie’s medication to harm her.
A Romantic Moment for Charles and Valentine
At the Little Spoon, Valentine prepares Bruno for the day ahead, hinting that she plans to spend it with Charles. He quickly deduces her plans after overhearing her on the phone.
Charles arrives to pick Valentine up, and they set off for the salt flats. However, their car breaks down en route. They enjoy a roadside picnic while waiting for assistance, but eventually decide to hitchhike home when no tow trucks are available.
Back at the Little Spoon, Bruno expresses his concerns to Christelle and Sylvain about Valentine, anticipating that Charles will ultimately break her heart.
After their adventurous day, Charles drives Valentine back to the Little Spoon. Despite the day’s unexpected twists, Valentine shares that she had a wonderful time and surprises Charles with a kiss, which he eagerly reciprocates.
Jordan Struggles with Self-Doubt
At the Roussel home, Jordan learns about the pre-selection process for a modeling casting. His friend Rayane is disheartened that he hasn’t heard from Jordan’s agent, mistakenly believing that Jordan had shared his contact details with him.
Later that day, Violette accompanies Jordan to the agency for the pre-selections. Faced with his competition, Jordan begins to doubt his abilities, but Violette offers him encouragement. He then proceeds to take shirtless photos for the casting.
That evening, Jordan receives an exhilarating phone call from his agent, revealing that he has been selected as a finalist along with another model for the final casting set to take place the next day. Jordan is overjoyed by this news.
