Is Thelma Involved with Edouard Fayet?

At the Institute, Mattéo and Zoé confront Thelma about her relationship with Edouard Fayet. The young girl confesses to having fabricated a story about sharing Solal’s father. In a moment of panic, she reveals that Edouard is providing her with financial assistance because she’s broke after settling the school’s renovation debts. Thelma insists on keeping Solal in the dark, worried it may make him uncomfortable.

As Thelma heads to her class, Zoé and Mattéo continue to press her about her new narrative. Mattéo speculates that Thelma and Edouard might be having an affair, which could explain his financial support and her reluctance to inform Solal.

In the library, Claire encourages Olivia to speak with Thelma. The head Listrac warns her that it’s unacceptable for Thelma to cover the school’s renovation costs with her own money, especially if it leaves her in dire straits. She mentions having discussed the matter with Teyssier, who is demanding answers.

In the management office, Thelma faces Olivia and Teyssier. After her plea for help, Edouard arrives to clarify that the funds used to pay off the debt are indeed his own.

As she exits the office, Thelma expresses her gratitude to Edouard, hoping her teachers believe her story. However, the businessman urges her to be honest with everyone, a suggestion she is reluctant to accept. At that moment, Solal joins them, surprised to find his father still in Calvières, and invites him for coffee.

Meanwhile, Olivia returns home and shares the events with Claire. She admits her confusion over Edouard Fayet’s financial help for Thelma and suspects that something more is at play. Claire theorizes that they might be involved romantically, and Edouard now holds power over Thelma due to her financial troubles.

At the café, Solal proposes a family gathering with his mother and younger brother during Easter, intending to introduce Zoé to everyone. Edouard then reveals to Solal that he has filed for divorce. Shocked, Solal suspects infidelity on his father’s part. Given his father’s silence, the young man becomes convinced of his suspicions and asks him to leave.

Later, Zoé meets Solal at the café. He confides in her about the impending divorce, believing his father is seeing another woman. Zoé then discloses that Mattéo spotted Edouard with Thelma, handing her an envelope filled with money, raising her suspicions about a deeper connection.

Cléo Leaves Gaspard Unfulfilled

At the dormitory, Gaspard confides in Coline that he did not sabotage Cléo; on the contrary, he cherished their night together. They even plan to meet in Toulouse next weekend, much to Coline’s delight.

Later, Gaspard encounters Cléo in the park and mentions his plans to buy train tickets to visit her in Toulouse. Cléo retorts that he is misinterpreting their relationship, asserting it has never been serious in her eyes. She admits that her intentions were solely to get back at him for the Institute competition before walking away.

Afterward, Cléo bids farewell to Clotilde and Joachim, thanking them for their support. Joachim walks her to the Institute’s entrance, where Cléo confesses that she has feelings for Gaspard but has chosen to cut ties, convinced he isn’t the right person for her. As she departs, she encounters Jasmine, who regards her with disdain.

Meanwhile, Gaspard breaks down in tears in the locker room, caught off guard by Bérénice, who expresses concern for him. He brushes her off, making a cruel remark about her father’s death. Bérénice retorts that her father died knowing he was loved, unlike Gaspard, who will end up alone.

Constance Struggles with Her Professional Identity

Constance pays a visit to her husband at the Institute. Simultaneously, a student seeks a delay in head Armand’s class because he has forgotten his insulin pen. To buy him some time, Constance offers to retrieve a bottle from the infirmary, but Teyssier forbids her from doing so.

He allows the student to leave for home. Constance expresses to her husband how challenging it is for her not to practice her profession, feeling lost and unproductive while at home. Teyssier suggests spending the afternoon with her to keep her company. However, when Stanislas informs him of an issue at Double A, Teyssier insists he must handle it himself.

Once at home, Constance prepares a snack while watching her favorite TV series. Teyssier struggles to stay focused, frequently calling Anaïs for updates on Double A. Faced with his wife’s frustration, the director assures her that he will be fully present with her the next day.
