Sébastien’s Critical Condition
At the hospital, Aaron delivers troubling news to the Perraud family: Sébastien is now in an induced coma after sustaining a gunshot wound near his heart. A significant transfusion was required to stabilize him. He permits Raphaëlle to see her father in the ICU while Nordine takes Camille and Maud back home.
Aaron later shares with Martin that he has retrieved the bullet from Sébastien’s body. He notes concerning marks on the wrists and a clean cut on the right palm, likely inflicted by a knife. The wound appears to be superficial and shows signs of healing, suggesting it was sustained several days prior. Martin appreciates this crucial information.
In the ICU, Raphaëlle is joined by Chloé, who encourages her to take a break, promising to keep her updated if there are any changes. Raphaëlle expresses her gratitude.
Meanwhile, at the police station, Damien briefs Martin and Karim on the findings from the scene where Sébastien was discovered. Analyses indicate that Sébastien was shot at a different location before being moved. Damien mentions that Prado’s phone was discovered and is currently undergoing analysis, and a GPS device was also located in the prosecutor’s pocket.
As the investigation unfolds, Raphaëlle spends time with her daughters under Nordine’s protective watch. Agnès prepares tea while Camille attempts to contact Zack, who is unavailable. Shortly after, Raphaëlle receives a call from Martin, who requests her presence at the police station. He reveals the GPS device to her, and she realizes it doesn’t belong to her father. Martin theorizes that Prado was tracking Sébastien, indicating a premeditated kidnapping scheme. He advises Raphaëlle to check their belongings for similar devices.
Later, Martin confides in Karim about his suspicions regarding Prado. He can’t comprehend how Prado could orchestrate such a plan while neglecting to retrieve his tracker and phone from the crime scene. This leads him to question whether they might be pursuing the wrong suspect.
On the other side, Zack is at a bus stop when he receives Camille’s message about her grandfather’s condition being critical. Frustrated, he turns back and heads to Saint-Clair, only to find a police officer guarding Sébastien’s room, with Chloé on watch.
Eventually, Zack meets Camille, and while Nordine is momentarily away, she sneaks out of her house. She apologizes to Zack for her previous behavior and reassures him that she hasn’t reconciled with Simon. Zack suggests they go back to his place, and Camille agrees to join him on his scooter…
Victor’s Christmas Market Venture
At the festive Christmas market, Alex and Bruno set up their stall, with Bruno expressing his excitement to work during the holiday season. He thanks Alex for including him and is eager to surpass Chloé’s impressive results from the previous year, leading to a playful bet where the loser must scrub the basins for a month.
Later, Bruno lends a hand to Valentine as she prepares the Little Spoon stall at the market. Although she’s thrilled to be part of the holiday festivities, she feels a twinge of disappointment upon discovering that Victor’s stall is set up next to hers.
Throughout the day, Timothée stops by to visit his father at the stand and quickly notices that the Little Spoon is gaining more popularity. Victor admits he isn’t fond of direct sales but had no choice after his seller canceled. Timothée suggests a change in appearance to attract more customers.
As evening falls, Alex, Bruno, and Valentine gather for dinner to celebrate a successful opening day. They can’t help but revel in Victor’s struggles, who is trying to maintain a cheerful demeanor despite his less-than-stellar performance.
The Choir’s Missing Melody
Octave accompanies Mia to the hospital for her physiotherapy session, where she practices her singing in the hallway. However, her brother begs her to stop, claiming her voice sounds off-key.
Later, Mia bursts into a choir rehearsal already in progress, only to be told by Lizzie that she wasn’t welcomed back due to her lackluster singing. Defiantly, Mia argues that their singing isn’t any better and storms out.
At the Spoon, Mia confides in her father and brother about her disappointment at being rejected by the choir. While Octave acknowledges her singing struggles, he encourages her to discover her unique talents, believing they could pique the choir’s interest.
Meanwhile, Violette attempts to compose a song for the choir, but Lizzie, Bastien, and Lilou find her efforts lacking.
François, on the other hand, stumbles upon a trophy from a regional singing competition he won in elementary school, prompting a wave of nostalgia.
