Telling wiretaps reveal Mohamed Amra as a gang leader, who manages, from his cell and with a cell phone, a network of drug traffickers and criminals ready for anything. From 2022, investigators wiretap the cell phone that Mohamed Amra illegally holds in his cell. During a conversation, he directs his accomplices who are traveling with drugs on the road areas to avoid. He checks everything: the route, and even the time it takes to transport the cargo, down to the second. More seriously, investigators discovered that he even ordered a kidnapping, that of a person of North African origin. He tells his accomplices what behavior to adopt.
Wiretapping of illegal cell phones is becoming more and more common, according to prison staff, who constantly track these phones in cells. Was the prison administration aware of these telephone tappings and did they underestimate the dangerousness of Mohamed Amra? The investigation will have to determine this.
