Some 200 missiles were fired on Tuesday October 1 by Tehran towards Israel. In the aftermath of the attack, many are wondering about the aftermath of the conflict, fearing a spiral towards a more total war.
Last July, Ismaïl Haniyeh was killed in the room of a building in Tehran. The coin had been rigged two months in advance, showing Israel’s ability to obtain very precise intelligence and strike hard all the way to Iran. However, would Israel succeed in targeting symbolic and strategic locations in Iran such as ballistic missile launch bases? Most likely.
Could nuclear sites be targeted? They are already known officially as civilian sites of Iran. Nuclear experts estimate that Iran is now capable of manufacturing two military warheads in less than four months. However, for Israel, it would be much more complicated to neutralize the sites, as this could only be done through airstrikes. It would therefore be necessary for Israel to fly over the airspace of one of the four neighboring countries with which it does not maintain good relations.
