What is the purpose of the Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ)? To flour Quebecers with the sole objective of getting re-elected while facilitating the enrichment of a privileged few.
The promise of a third link was used for two elections. The song was getting worn out and the studies were non-existent. This is why, beyond the empty coffers of the State, the project was abandoned. Trying to repeat the refrain a few days after being beaten in a by-election is boundless insignificance.
The CAQ is not there for the environment, seniors, tenants, etc. So what is the CAQ for, if not to send out checks and cut taxes just before the elections for clients who, most of the time, do not need these sums?
We have to catch up with Ontario. But, according to some economists, this catch-up has been happening for a dozen years, with Quebec families benefiting from better services than their neighbors since that time. Ontarians know this and are moving to the Outaouais more than ever to benefit from it.
François Legault wants to lower taxes by 2.5% within three years. It will probably be just before the elections. It will then appear “logical” to sell Hydro-Québec piece by piece to replenish a deficit that has become structural. The CAQ, as usual, will place the blame on some scapegoat.
What is the CAQ for? To lead Quebecers into an autonomist impasse by making them believe that they can act on immigration within a federal framework. It’s its finest flour. Only a sovereign country has power over immigration.
And according to you, Mr. Legault, what is the Bloc for? To look after the interests of the Quebec nation, since you have not the slightest intention of doing so other than by throwing flour.
