Upon taking office Monday May 16, the First Minister Élisabeth Borne has clearly identified a file that should punctuate her action at Matignon: ecological planning. Two ministers will be responsible for implementing it. A minister will be in charge of energy, we talk about ”energy planningthe other to decline the ecological planning on the territory, it is the “territorial planning”. On the energy side, Elisabeth Borne will have to launch six nuclear reactors and fifty offshore wind farms, for commissioning in 2050.
The goal will be to implement Emmanuel Macron’s campaign promises, such as better access to electric cars. Finally, the energy renovation of housing: theobjective is to convert 3,500,000 by the end of the five-year period. The president has promised to increase the budget for ecological transition by 50 billion euros during his second five-year term.
