The tragic death of Jenny (Viviane Audet), general manager of the Hôtel Dumont, weighs heavily on the conscience of her best friend, Sarah (Marie-Evelyne Lessard) and on the heart of her mother Victoria (Nathalie Coupal).
His urn had barely been put in the ground when a race for the leadership of the hotel, in this case the Saint-Sulpice hotel located in the Old Port of Montreal, was already fiercely underway. Behind the smiles of its dedicated staff and its closed doors hide many secrets, but also stories of impossible love, family conflicts, betrayals, greed and a healthy dose of ambition.

Duplicated in 24 one-hour episodes, “Hotel” looks behind the scenes of the hotel industry; “It’s less beautiful downstairs, it’s all about renovating upstairs,” said the show’s producer for Sovimage, Sophie Deschênes.
“Poor Hugo, he’s in debt and his family doesn’t know about it. He does business with people who spend and who roll with a lot of money, whereas he does not have these means, ”added the producer, stressing that his descent is likely to be abrupt.
Hugo (Patrice Bélanger), assistant director, is counting on a promotion to pay off his debts, but Guillaume (Emmanuel Schwartz), Jenny’s (Machiavellian) twin brother, will be able to put a spoke in his wheels. It must be said that the latter has all the faults of a son of a rich man; spoiled, profiteering, arrogant; he knows how to use his charms to get what he wants.
Ève Lemieux, who plays the role of a maid, faces a gambling addiction problem. Olivia Palacci plays the tough chef, while Jeff Boudreault, Olivier Gervais-Courchesne, Gabrielle Fontaine and Myriam Fournier complete the staff of the Hotel Dumont.
