He is often a demagogue and proposes simplistic solutions such as a third link that would disfigure Île d’Orléans with a highway that would pass “through the field” or a $200 check for families, which will in no way solve the lack of places in daycares… But its proposals are hard-hitting, which makes it attractive to some.
Two indicators of the mobilization force must also be taken into account: in less than a year, it has recruited 60,000 members and ranks first in terms of the number of contributors in nearly fifteen constituencies. The large rallies at the start of the campaign confirmed the motivation of the militants, while the resounding victory of Poilievre in Quebec is another sign of interest in this kind of speech.
In the middle of the campaign, the needle of the polls moves. These are only projections, but as of yesterday, the Qc125 site places the Conservatives tied in Chauveau (40-40) and Beauce-Sud (41-41), and close to a tie in Beauce Nord ( 41-43).

What if Duhaime won the battle of quiet voters who would be ashamed to come out as conservatives when questioned in the polls, but who could inflate the vote, causing surprises on October 3?
