Behind these tubes of several generations, Michel Fugain, him, did not always have an easy existence.
Sophie, his hidden daughter
The singer lost a child, a girl named Laurette in May 2002 at the age of 22. He created a foundation that fights against leukemia in his memory. Michel Fugain is also the father of a son, Alexis (born in April 1993), and a daughter, Marie (born in November 1973). But there is another child, his first, whom he knows a little less… It is also a girl.

This is what the star had revealed in his autobiography Laughter and a tear, published by Editions Michel Lafont in 2007. Since then, there has been movement. In an interview with Gala, he explained about his eldest, who is called Sophie: “I didn’t hide her. She’s always been part of my life, but I don’t know her.” And to specify: “His mother wanted to have a child on her own, it was in tune with the times, and I only saw it once”. And to add: “She was fourteen and had no desire to join our family. We were however ready to make room for it“.
He reconciled with his two other children
A few years later, in 2011, he announced good news to Paris Match. In cold with Marie and Alexis, he had announced that a rapprochement had finally taken place. Michel Fugain then revealed about the premiere: “We met a year ago, during a dinner at her house. I was overjoyed to see her again with her husband and my two adorable grandchildren (Elliot and Sam, editor’s note)”. And concerning the second, Michel Fugain admits: “we both burst into tears when we found ourselves”.
Now in love with Sanda, her family has been recomposed with the arrival of two daughters-in-law.
