It’s a great success for the return of Dance with the stars. This Friday, after a year and a half of absence, the dance competition returned to TF1 for a thirteenth season acclaimed by viewers. The inaugural prime was followed in its main part by 3.92 million viewers and 35% of housewives under the age of fifty, a clear progression over one season. For this very first bonus, marked by the great return of Jean-Marc Généreux and Fauve Hautot and the arrival of Mel Charlot on the jury, five first candidates christened the set: Cristina Cordula, Inès Reg, Nico Capone, Adeline Tonuitti and Natasha St-Pier.
The Quebec singer seduced the jurors for her first performance, which was greeted with very nice notes. Indeed, Natasha St-Pier, who proposed a rumba on the title And if there was only one left from the immense Céline Dion, obtained two nice 8s from Fauve Hautot and Mel Charlot, a nice 7 from Jean-Marc Généreux and a small 6 from Chris Marques. She placed second in the evening, just behind Inès Reg, but ahead of Nico Capone, Adeline Tonuiti, and Cristina Cordula, last, who finds herself named and in danger. She will face in two weeks the candidate next Saturday who will have the lowest score, among James Denton (injured this Friday), Caroline Margeridon, Black M, Keiona, Diane Leyre, Cœur de Pirate and Roman Doduik.
A complex overcome, a challenge overcome
At the end of the performance, Natasha St-Pier had a hard time containing her emotion… The 43-year-old singer, whose partner is Anthony Colette, collapsed in tears revealing that she had just come to the end of a very big complex which invaded his daily life as well as his life as an artist for too many years: “It’s the first time in my thirty-year career that I dare to do TV without pants or a long skirt” she rejoiced, before being applauded by Mel Charlot, who insisted on making her repeat several times that she was “graceful”. In her presentation tape, the interpreter of To die tomorrow had actually revealed that she had been preventing herself from revealing her legs for more than thirty steps, and that the adventure DALS was going to be a real test for her. A test that she has already overcome brilliantlydespite the few tears that may have flowed after the performance.
