what everyone doesn’t know about his new life at TF1

In October 2023, TF1 suddenly announced the arrival of Bruce Toussaint within its group. Three months later, the famous journalist arrived to take control of “Bonjour!”, the new morning show launched on the channel. This news came as a great surprise within the PAF, particularly because Bruce Toussaint had been one of the key faces of BFMTV since 2018, where he presented the continuous news segment between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Upon his arrival, Bruce Toussaint was happily welcomed by the “old hands” of the channel such as Gilles Bouleau and Anne-Claire Coudray who did not fail to send him warm messages of welcome. Surrounded by a large team of columnists, Bruce Toussaint, who has just celebrated his 50th birthday, seems to enjoy this new environment and this new daily meeting, early in the morning.

Bruce Toussaint: his former employer BFMTV ready to go to court?

Opposite, and more than six months after the departure of Bruce Toussaint, the BFMTV channel is still fuming at having seen its flagship journalist being poached in this way by a competing group. According to information from the newspaper “L’Informé”, the channel and its advertising agency seized the Nanterre commercial court last December to request an end to unfair competition on the part of the front page. We also learn that the channel has finally changed its mind…

We note that at the time of Bruce Toussaint’s departure, the director of BFMTV, Marc-Olivier Fogiel, made a solemn announcement to the other employees: “Bruce Toussaint informed us this afternoon that he had decided to leave the company to join another media group next January. I wanted you to be the first to know about it. I will obviously come back to you soon to share our new projects”he would have written.

He then spoke in the columns of Télé Star: “Our relations have become a little strained, that’s normal. But we’ve known each other for a long time and I hope our friendship can survive this“.
