“Hi, it’s Leo, what does it say?”

This Monday, September 9, this time, the Paris-2024 Games are well and truly over, after the closing ceremony of the Paralympic Games. France finished eighth in the medal table with 75 medals, including 19 gold. Objective achieved, but the athletes and their supporters are feeling a little depressed now. In this episode, “Ça dit quoi” also discusses what the legacy of these Games will be.

Abbé Pierre is the target of 17 new accusations of sexual violence, bringing the total to 24 accusations. The founder of Emmaüs and figure in the fight against poverty, who died in 2007, contested these accusations in the 1950s in several letters revealed this Monday by the investigation unit of Radio France.

And then it’s 36,000 euros less than the 2022 record… a trifle compared to 10 145 881 million euros raised by ZEvent this weekend. The charity streaming marathon will donate this sum equally to five associations fighting against poverty and precariousness (Secours populaire, Cop1-student solidarity, Chapitre 2, Les Bureaux du cœur and Solidarité Paysans).
