“Hi it’s Leo, what does it say?”

This Friday, October 20, the French Polar Institute is looking for 80 volunteers for missions of approximately one year in its stations located in Antarctica. In addition to scientists to study penguins, elephant seals and the movements of the ice floe, electricians, plumbers, workers, cooks and even maintenance workers are sought for station life. A job dating was organized on Thursday in Brest but the polar institute looks for this type of profile every year.

REPORT: “I will take any job, as long as I leave”

The demonstration in support of the Palestinian people was finally authorized by the courts on Thursday evening in Paris. A few thousand people gathered on Republic Square to demand an end to Israel’s bombing of civilian populations. They will also monitor the arrival of humanitarian aid, including drinking water, from this Friday in the Gaza Strip.

Finally, and to still take advantage of the All Saints’ Day holidays which promise to be rainy, Sony and Nintendo are releasing two video games at the same time this Friday. Super Mario Wonder will face Spiderman 2 in the hearts of gamers.
