This Wednesday, July 3, there is hope for the entire LGBT community in Cameroon. On Sunday, on Instagram, a rapper posted a photo of herself kissing her partner… and embarrassing her father, President Paul Biya, who has been in power for over 40 years. Homosexuality is illegal in Cameroon. On RFI, an iconic LGBT rights lawyer calls for its decriminalization.
In France, the candidates qualified for the second round of the legislative elections had until Tuesday evening to maintain or not their candidacy and, finally, to counter the National Rally, more than 210 of them withdrew and that is so many fewer chances for the far-right party to obtain an absolute majority.
