“Hi it’s Leo, what does it say?”

This Thursday, March 7, what is happening in Haiti? A gang leader nicknamed “Barbecue” threatens to start a civil war if the Prime Minister does not step down. The UN Security Council is concerned about a “critical situation”.

After a record summer and fall, the world has just experienced its warmest winter on record, according to the Copernicus Observatory. The month of February is the ninth in a row to break a monthly heat record, with 13.54°C recorded on average. This is 1.77°C above seasonal norms.

And then a Senate commission of inquiry is concerned about “the terrible loneliness of teachers” in the face of repeated threats and attacks. In a report, they make 38 recommendations to better protect teachers and defend secularism. This commission was requested by the family of Samuel Paty.
