“Hi it’s Sarah, what does it say?”
This Tuesday, March 12, an agreement was reached between the government and Corsican elected officials for a “constitutional writing” project which aims to give more autonomy to the island within the Republic. A compromise which “respects both the red lines” of the executive but satisfies the Corsican power, even if the possibility of adapting French laws is not unanimous. The project must be approved by the Corsican Assembly, then by Parliament, before going before Congress.

With the hashtag #12marsjelis, the Ministry of National Education and the National Book Center are trying to raise awareness of the importance of reading. In a study, the CNL points to a decline in reading among 15-24 year olds: 80% of them declare themselves readers, a proportion down compared to 2019. They themselves admit it: screens capture a lot of their be careful, but it is not necessarily harmful for reading, since booksellers note the prescriptive role of social networks.
