“Hi it’s Leo, what does it say?”

This Thursday, February 29, France is preparing to become the first country to include voluntary termination of pregnancy (IVG) in its Constitution. While the right to abortion is threatened elsewhere in the world, the Senate voted in favor of the same text as the National Assembly. Deputies and senators will meet in Congress on Monday to finalize this inclusion in the Constitution.

A UN expert denounces a “criminalization” of civil disobedience in Europe. “The repression suffered by environmental activists who resort to peaceful actions of civil disobedience constitutes a major threat to democracy and human rights,” assures Michel Forst.

And then, barely crowned Miss Germany, Apameh Schônauer was the victim of a wave of online harassment. She is 39 years old, has two children and, of Iranian origin, she founded a network for oppressed women. Since 2019, Miss Germany is no longer a beauty contest but focuses on the personality and commitment of the candidates.
