Emmanuel Macron and Marine Le Pen will debate face to face on Wednesday April 20. With the aim of mobilizing the 12 million abstainers from the first round, and convincing six million undecided. A team from France Télévisons went to meet them.

Between Marine Le Pen and Emmanuel Macron, the two finalists in the presidential election, some have still not made their choice, Wednesday April 20. Many undecided will be, in the evening, in front of their television set, with the hope of attending a debate on the fact. “Let everyone give their ideas, let everyone explain what they want to do”says a woman. “I am undecided. Before deciding, I will first listen to Mr. Macron, I will listen to Mrs. Le Pen, and then I will see who I can choose”said another.

Not everyone is so convinced of the effectiveness of confrontation. “At the end, we will see: it is one, it is the other or it is white”says a man. “No debate made me change my initial idea”, judge on his side a woman, always undecided. Others will watch for the twist, and why not the reversal of the situation. According to polls, nearly one in eight voters still do not know who they are going to vote for.
