What did we eat in the last century in Franche Comté?

With his thousands of loyal readers renewed with each publication, the regional novelist Guy Louis Anguenot came to present his latest novel to us. A new investigation by the famous Inspector Marigny has indeed just come out, it is the seventh volume of the most famous cop from home. And in this book, we often sit down to eat!

The opportunity is therefore found to immerse ourselves in the last century to rediscover the dishes and traditions of the time between Doubs, Jura and Haute Saône. As the author explains to us, we gathered and hunted a lot. For example, we would kill the hare on Thursdays in the woods for the Sunday family meal and no good stew without a good Jura Poulsard. The evening meal was often composed of a soup with soaked bread or the famous evening café au lait with its cancoillotte sandwiches!

With our other guests, go trout fishing, picking mushrooms with a good Suze as an aperitif, warm and nostalgic moments of life that we bring back to life during this replay!
