More than 3,900 people involved in riots have been taken into custody across France since Friday, June 30. Among them, 673 were brought before the prosecution and 374 went to immediate appearance.
Immediate appearances took place in the afternoon of July 3 at the Marseille court (Bouches-du-Rhône). Since Friday, throughout France, there have been more than 3,900 police custody. 673 people were brought before the prosecution and 374 went to immediate appearance. In total, more than 120 people have been imprisoned, sentenced or awaiting trial. In a circular, the Keeper of the Seals had asked the prosecutor this week for a firm and systematic criminal response. On the front of the failures of the parents, very few inquiries have been opened.
