As expected, the President of the Republic Emmanuel Macron raised several subjects during his televised address on November 9 at the Elysee Palace. The central theme was, unsurprisingly, the Covid-19. The Head of State mentioned the arrival of treatments against the virus which will be available very soon. Emmanuel Macron therefore mentioned the arrival of new drugs that could be effective against the coronavirus. “These are antiviral treatments. There are two, there is Lagivrio and Paxlovid”, explains the journalist first. It also details its actions on the human body. “Both are doing the same thing, they will stop the virus from multiplying”, he continues, before insisting on ease of use. Indeed, “six to eight capsules per day” will be needed. A treatment that does not require hospitalization.
