Better sleep and weight loss
To limit the health risks of alcohol, it is recommended to drink a maximum of ten glasses per week. After 39 days without alcohol and a few temptations, the journalist noticed better sleep and three kilos less. The effects of alcohol have not completely disappeared from the liver, it would take a few more weeks of abstinence. According to an English study, after a month without alcohol, consumers drink more moderately and the number of drinks decreases.
