What are the effects of temperature variations on our plants?

Jacky Mercier has been seasoned in organic market gardening for several decades in Frontenay sur Dive (86) and these successive changes without wanting to adopt a seasonal consistency, leave him thoughtful and quite helpless. Even if, as he points out:

the worst is for the fruit trees, we can cover our vegetables, with the trees, that is not possible.

The meteorological phenomena can be radically different, so in the same day we recorded 10 ml of rain in Frontenay sur Dive against 40 ml in Poitiers, at a distance of 35 km. Which will lead him to water his peas, yet he told us:

this plant needs little water but when it is growing it must be provided with humidity when the soil is too dry.

So there is no more season? The episodes follow one another at an astonishing speed and even the phases of the moon no longer have the same effects on crops.
