She is one of the survivors: Laura Blajman-Kadar experienced the October 7 attack in Israel. Six months after the tragedy, the Franco-Israeli recounts the attack as well as her daily life in Israel in a book entitled Believe in life. Guest of 19/20 info on Saturday April 6, she talks about her difficulties in returning to a normal life: “We’ve been trying to get our lives back for six months, trying to get a full night’s sleep, but these are things that are impossible for us”she laments.

“What Hamas committed on October 7 were war crimes”

Ahmed Benchemsi, spokesperson for Human Rights Watch, returns to the events of October 7 and describes them as “war crimes” : “What Hamas committed on October 7 were war crimes”. However, he adds: “It is not because we commit war crimes on one side that it is justified to commit them on the other”.

Also invited on the 19/20 set, Samuel Athlan, co-founder of the October 7 collective, wanted to show his support for the Hamas hostages. He evokes the “sensation” that France is not doing enough for these people.
