kyiv is worried. THE “hesitations” of Westerners on aid deliveries to kyiv encourage Vladimir Putin who wants “to occupy” the entire territory of Ukraine, warned Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday January 10. “We must pay attention to Putin’s rhetoric”he said during a surprise visit to Vilnius (Lithuania).

Vladimir Putin will not stop until Ukraine and its allies have finished with him, said the head of state. “Sometimes the hesitation of partners regarding financial and military assistance to Ukraine only increases the boldness and strength of Russia”he lamented, during a joint press conference with his Lithuanian counterpart Gitanas Nausėda.

Volodymyr Zelensky also declared that his country “sorely missing” of Western air defense systems in the face of the intensification in recent weeks of its large-scale bombings in the country. In the event of a Ukrainian defeat, other neighbors of Russia risk being attacked, said the Ukrainian head of state. “We must understand that Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Moldova could be the next victims if we do not hold on”he insisted.
