When they do nothing, they suffer the wrath of detractors. And when an action is taken, however courageous it may be, they are considered demagogues. Unfortunately for Jonathan Cohen, Audrey Fleurot, or even Camille Cottin, their action does not seem to have pleased everyone… The three, as well as 297 other actors, signed a platform this Wednesday March 22 in the columns of Release demanding, among other things, the withdrawal of the pension reform.
This Friday, March 24, Benjamin Castaldi, host of the show for the occasion, and his teams wanted to discuss the subject. For Béatrice Rosen and Amélie Bitoun, the action led by the actors would simply not be “not brave”. “When they do nothing, we say they are doing nothing, and when they do something, we say they are demagogues…”then lamented Benjamin Castaldi when he discovered the words of his columnists. “No, that’s not it. It’s just that I’m happy that they’re talking and I agree with them in this case”then tried to defend herself Béatrice Rosen before specifying: “Now I wonder where they were during the health crisis. If the majority of her colleagues did not agree with her, Amélie Bitoun, new columnist for “TPMP”, supported him. To defy the police, to be there in the rain, and to go down with the strikers”, first asked the newcomer to the daily before directly attacking Jonathan Cohen and the others: “Because, excuse me, signing a little piece of paper on a petition.
