It was when he learned that he was making ten billion paper business cards and that eight billion ended up in the trash a week after they were made that Samuel Dassa, an engineer by training, had the idea for Wemet, with a simple system: “We created a connected business card. It’s a unique card, we always have the support. A bit like a bank card. We stick it on the phone and it will be downloaded to the phone of the person we meeting, his complete contact sheet and it is integrated directly into the contacts of the telephone”, explains Samuel Dassa.
No need to download an app, the Wemet card is compatible with all phone models. The young start-up, which has only been around for a year and a half, is targeting the corporate market. It already has several big names from the CAC 40 to its credit. The product costs between 30 and 100 euros depending on the features you choose. This ranges from the simple contact form to the presentation pdf and the appointment booking module.
A single card can work 100,000 times. It took a year and a half of research to develop the product. 80,000 euros investment only. The company is already profitable.
