After having recruited young and promising profiles (Ilie, Bouanani, Beka Beka), OGC Nice is strengthening this time with a player who has been playing at a high level for almost fifteen years. Without having the slightest euro to spend to recruit him since the Welshman has just been released by Juventus Turin.
Great European experience
Formed in Cardiff, it was at Arsenal that the Welsh international (74 caps – 20 goals) revealed himself by playing more than 300 matches in the Premier League and winning the FA Cup three times with the Gunners. A very dynamic midfielder, Ramsey had already signed a free contract with Juventus Turin in 2019. An Italian experience less successful than in England, even if the Welshman nevertheless won Serie A in 2020. Last season, he was loaned to Glasgow Rangers in the second half of the season, where he won the Scottish Cup and played in the Europa League final.
