Saturday, March 19, special weekly photo issue which honors the photoreporters currently in Ukraine and who, for years, have awakened us in the theaters of war. Franco-American photographer Peter Turnley is one of them, he just returned from Lviv and Poland.

Among the passengers, the photographer notices many elderly women, alone. “They often had slightly glazed eyes, the look communicated a lot of confusion and despair”he analyzes. Once past the Polish border, peace of mind, finally. “In these times of great loss, you see a lot of affection, people embracing each other. When you have nothing in front of you, the only thing that matters is love.”
