We will be treated to a beautiful weekend. All the more reason to take advantage of this opportunity to participate in outdoor (and indoor) activities. Here are the suggestions from our journalists.
Quebec celebrates theater
The Carrefour international de théâtre de Québec gets underway on May 23 with 10 indoor shows from here and elsewhere, but all united by a common theme: that of the quest for identity. Note in particular the revivals ofAgamemnon in the Ring and of Miss Agnesas well as the arrival of the show by Frenchwoman Nadia Beugré Prophetic (we are already born) or podcast theater with a criminal flavor For years. The free walking tour Where do you go when you sleep while walking…? returns for the 15e year. The outdoor show directed by Alexandre Fecteau is this time installed on the ExpoCité site.

He will speak with his translator, the author Stanley Péan, about this unusual work, at the crossroads of magical realism and science fiction, which speaks of racism, the quest for identity, justice and healing.

Outdoor Science
The Eureka festival! is back for the 17the edition, from Friday to Sunday. This year, this great outdoor science festival will take place on the theme “Planetary Health”. Its free programming will make festival-goers aware of the links that exist between the environment, ecosystems and their health. On stage, we will notably be able to see the microbiologist Chloé Savard (aka Tardibabe, on social networks) who will talk about the infinitely small, and the explorer Mylène Paquette, who will raise awareness of sea pollution. Controlling a robot, doing archaeological digs or concocting glue are just some of the many activities to discover on the event site at Parc Jean-Drapeau.

IF At the movie theater
In a few years, IF will likely be a refuge film for many families looking for comfort. Despite its lack of rhythm and its strong message, it remains a beautiful film that warms the hearts of children, young and old. With the presence on screen of Cailey Fleming, Ryan Reynolds and John Krasinski, who here directs his fifth film.
