Dreaming of Asia in 360 degrees

The multimedia journey Dreaming of Asia continues at Oasis Immersion, on the ground floor of the Palais des congrès de Montréal. Launched last December, this new immersive journey immerses us in the cultural world of China and Japan. From the famous Chinese painting The Qingming Festival by the river, painted on a five-meter parchment, to shadow and puppet theaters, including numerous Japanese prints, the different creative teams explore all the imagery of these two countries with a rich past.

The awakening of spring

PHOTO STÉPHANE BOURGEOIS, PROVIDED BY THE DENISE-PELLETIER THEATER

The awakening of spring is a very modern rereading of a 19th century German texte century.

The Denise-Pelletier Theater is hosting one of the most electrifying plays of the winter theater season. His title : The awakening of spring. Playwright David Paquet put his sharp pen to work on this show which tells the story of the sexual awakening of five 14-year-olds. The performers, under the direction of Olivier Arteau, deliver performances bordering on acrobatics on a stage dominated by a vast inclined plane. A very successful piece where tears and laughter skillfully intertwine. A must see, especially with teenagers. Until February 17.
