Flyers win 3-1 in Carolina
Travis Konecny collected a 10e goal and the Philadelphia Flyers won their third straight road game on Wednesday, winning 3-1 over the Carolina Hurricanes.
Owen Tippett and Ryan Poehling were the other scorers for the Flyers, while Carter Hart made 31 saves.
Tippett scored in the second minute of play.
Konecny doubled the lead 58 seconds before the end of the first period.
Poehling put in the effort 29 seconds into the middle period.
Stefan Noesen hit back midway through the second period.
The Hurricanes lost for the first time in five games in Raleigh this season.
Hart made his first start from 1er november.
He missed three games because of an unspecified injury, then two more because of food poisoning.
The Flyers will return to their home crowd on Saturday afternoon, against the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Flyers have lost their last four meetings at the Wells Fargo Center.

Evander Kane completes hat trick in overtime, Oilers defeat Kraken
Evander Kane scored three unanswered goals, including the decisive goal in overtime, and the Edmonton Oilers came from behind to defeat the Seattle Kraken 4-3 on Wednesday.
The Oilers have now won three games in a row, including two under new head coach Kris Knoblauch, who replaced Jay Woodcroft on Sunday.
Zach Hyman waited for the Kraken defenseman to compromise before sending the puck to Kane, who scored his seventh goal of the campaign at 2:57 of the overtime period.
Connor McDavid also scored and Evan Bouchard had three assists for the Oilers. Stuart Skinner made 33 saves.
Jared McCann, Pierre-Édouard Bellemare and Alexander Wennberg responded for the Kraken, who have lost three straight and five of their last six. Joey D’accord blocked 28 pucks.

The Avalanche scores 5 times in 3e and wins 8-2 against the Kraken
Joel Kiviranta and Andrew Cogliano scored 21 seconds apart during a five-goal third period and the Colorado Avalanche defeated the Anaheim Ducks 8-2 on Wednesday.
Kiviranta, who agreed to a two-way contract earlier this week, added two assists. Valeri Nichushkin scored a double, while Quebecer Samuel Girard and Devon Toews scored a goal and assisted in a net.
Fredrik Olofsson and Ross Colton also lit the red light for the Avalanche. Alexandar Georgiev made 15 saves.
Cale Makar had three assists, and teammates Nathan MacKinnon and Jack Johnson had two.
Max Jones and Sam Carrick scored for the Ducks, who were playing their second game in as many days. Lukas Dostal stopped 30 pucks.
The Ducks had won their last five road games.
