Brady Tkachuk gives the Senators the win

Brady Tkachuk scored 25 seconds into overtime on Wednesday as the Ottawa Senators prevailed 5-4 at the expense of the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Alex DeBrincat, Tim Stutzle, Drake Batherson and Shane Pinto were the other scorers for the Senators, who scored four times on nine powerplays.

Tkachuk had three assists, before closing the debate with a wrist shot from the slot.

Author of 16 saves, Cam Talbot was beaten by Evgeni Malkin, Jason Zucker, Mark Friedman and Rickard Rakell.

Sidney Crosby had three assists and Casey DeSmith blocked 35 shots.

The two clubs will meet again on Friday in Pittsburgh.
