A fourth victory in a row for the Rangers

Jacob Trouba set the tone on the power play and the New York Rangers edged out to a 4-1 win over the Philadelphia Flyers on Wednesday.

Trouba scored at 3:41 in the first period, using a slap shot from the blue line.

Dryden Hunt and Chris Kreider also beat Carter Hart, then Artemi Panarin completed the scoring in an empty net.

Igor Shesterkin made 33 saves for the Rangers, who won a fourth straight game.

New York has lost just once in nine games.

Kaapo Kakko had two assists, giving him eight points in his last seven games.

Morgan Frost scored in the middle period for the Flyers, who were losing a seventh straight game. Hart blocked 24 pucks.
