Mattias Samuelsson scored his first career goal for the Sabers, who blew a three-goal lead in the third period. Jeff Skinner, on the power play, added his sixth goal in five games and goaltender Craig Anderson made 40 saves while recording one assist.

Defender Rasmus Dahlin contributed to the win with two assists.

Oskar Sundqvist was at the heart of the Red Wings comeback with two goals. Jonatan Berggren and David Perron also hit the mark for the Red Wings.

The Sabers led 2-1 after 20 minutes. Berggren opened the scoring with his second career goal, assisted by Filip Hronek.

Cozens tied the score shorthanded after Anderson cleared his territory from behind the net to center ice. The pass from the Sabers goaltender helped Cozens sneak past the opposing defense.

Samuelsson added his first goal to his 64e game, thanks to a shot that hit Nedeljkovic’s arm and branched into the net.

Cozens completed his double at 8:12 of the second period and Skinner made it 4-1 just two minutes later.

Perron started the Red Wings’ comeback at 6:51 of the third period before Sundqvist scored twice, scored less than two minutes apart midway through the third period.
