Rangers win 5-4 against the Red Wings

Andrew Copp flashed the red light in overtime and the New York Rangers extended their winning streak to four with a 5-4 win over the Detroit Red Wings on Wednesday.

Artemi Panarin scored a goal and aided in two more Rangers goals, including Copp’s.

Chris Kreider — who hit the target for a 46and times this season — Ryan Reaves and Filip Chytil have hit the mark for Rangers. Alexandar Georgiev stopped 22 shots.

Michael Rasmussen, Jakub Vrana, Tyler Bertuzzi and Adam Erne rocked the ropes for the Red Wings. Moritz Seider had two assists.

Alex Nedeljkovic stopped 29 shots for the Red Wings, who suffered a fourth consecutive loss.
