The Stars score four goals in the second period and win 4-3 against the Kings
The Dallas Stars scored four goals in a crazy second period to come from behind to win 4-3 against the Los Angeles Kings on Wednesday night.
Ryan Suter and Alexander Radulov scored in the final minute of the second period to tip the odds in favor of the Stars. Luke Glendening and Jason Robertson scored the other goals as the hosts went 5-1-1 in their last seven meetings.
Jake Oettinger made 28 saves to sign a 15and home win this season.
Radulov, who was competing in a 500and career NHL game, scored his third goal of the season and his second in 40 games. The Russian striker had his best season in 2018-2019 when he netted 29 goals.
Kings rookie Arthur Kaliyev had his first two-goal game in the NHL. Phillip Danualt got the Kings’ other goal as Cal Petersen stopped 38 shots.
The Stars trailed 3-1 after Kaliyev’s two goals midway through the second period. That’s when they opened the machine.
In the last six minutes of the period, Robertson initially made it 3-2 by beating Petersen between the pads. Then, Suter tied the left point with 59 seconds on the clock and finally Radulov finished the job by jumping on a power-play throwback.
