Weather: the sun continues to shine on Quebec

After a slight glimpse in the middle of the week, good weather will continue to reign in Quebec this weekend, with temperatures that will make you forget the recent ice storm.

The sun will shine especially on Montreal and its neighboring regions, with a mercury that will reach a maximum of 24 on Saturday and Sunday. It will essentially be the same for all of western Quebec, in Outaouais and Abitibi-Témiscamingue.

Residents of the center of the province will be entitled to the same treatment: the sun will shine on all regions of this sector, and this, throughout the weekend. If some of these regions could feel the sun less than others, such as Charlevoix, where it will be 10 degrees, the mercury should rise in the southern parts of the province, especially in Estrie (24 degrees).

Same story on the eastern side of Quebec, where sunny weather is also expected. It will however be cooler in some corners; in the areas of Matane, the Matapédia Valley and Gaspésie, among others, the clouds will be more present, but the sky should clear during the day. The temperature could drop to 8 in these places.

For the northern portion, you will also have to be a little more patient: the clouds should still occupy the sky for some time. The mercury should stabilize around 6 or 7 throughout the day, especially in Baie-Comeau and Sept-Îles.
