Temperatures are slowly returning to seasonal norms in Quebec, and the mild weather is leaving with the rain. Snow should finally appear on Saturday in the east of the province.

A fine carpet of snow is expected in the far east and south of the province during the day, according to Environment Canada forecasts.

In Gaspésie, Bas-Saint-Laurent and the North Shore, where the greatest accumulations are expected (between 2 and 4 cm), precipitation should continue until Sunday morning.

In Saguenay also, snow showers are forecast from Saturday to Sunday.

In Abitibi, intermittent snow and freezing drizzle are expected from morning to midday. Clouds are expected to persist overnight into Sunday.

In the far south of the province, forecast accumulations do not exceed 1 cm. For the regions of Montreal, Outaouais and Lanaudière, despite the absence of rain, Saturday will be gray, with colder temperatures than the previous week.

In the Quebec region, intermittent snow is expected throughout the day, but the clouds should partially dissipate overnight, giving way to semi-clear skies on Sunday.
