The Estrie sectors and the Forillon – Gaspé – Percé National Park have already received almost ten centimeters of accumulations, which has reduced visibility at times.

Precipitation will continue until Thursday, especially on the Gaspé tip where we can expect up to 20 centimeters of snow on the ground by Thursday morning.

“The rapid accumulation of snow could make travel difficult in some places,” warned Environment Canada on its website.

A few snow showers will also affect certain sectors in the center of the province, while the weather is expected to be partly sunny in western and southern Quebec.

Although we do not yet know its trajectory, the low pressure system is moving towards Quebec on Friday with snow for the western and central sectors of the province.

On the other hand, Montreal, Montérégie and Estrie could receive rain, due to the rise in mercury, while eastern Quebec will have more sun with a few clouds.
