The storm that is sweeping through several regions of Quebec is making travel difficult. Several schools and school service centers have also announced their closure for the day.

This is the case of the Marguerite-Bourgeoys, Pointe-de-l’île and Montreal school service centers which are closing their doors for all students and members of their staff. There will be no distance learning.
The roads are snow-covered and visibility is reduced in places. This is particularly the case at the junction of the A13 and the A20 at the Louis-Bisson bridge, from Île des Soeurs to the Décarie interchange, as well as at the junction of the A40 to the A520 to Saint-Léonard.
The snow also disrupts activities at Montréal-Trudeau airport. Departures and arrivals are now delayed or canceled.
