With temperatures hovering around 30°C with humidity between 34 and 39 for Saturday and Sunday, Montrealers will have to stay hydrated and stay cool to face the impressive heat wave overlooking the city.
“Drink plenty of water, even before you feel thirsty, and stay cool. Reduce your heat risks. Organize your outdoor activities during the coolest hours of the day,” Environment Canada said in a public warning.
The nights will also be uncomfortable with temperatures around 20°C, the federal agency said.
Environment Canada has also issued severe thunderstorm watches for several regions of the province, such as Montreal, Quebec and Sherbrooke.
