Ève Landry and François Papineau will opposite Vincent-Guillaume Otis in Armsa new annual series which will be presented on TVA starting in September.
The series, which will mark the actor’s return to the small screen for the actor since District 31is produced by Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau (Aetios), in collaboration with Quebecor Content.
Written by Pierre Marc Drouin (Reasonable doubt, In Memoriam) and produced by Jean-Philippe Duval (With a beating heart, Unit 9), Arms will take viewers into the world of the Canadian Armed Forces, reveals a TVA press release. Vincent-Guillaume Otis will play the role of Louis-Philippe Savard, an officer ordered to take charge of operations after the death of an elite soldier during a secret commando training exercise. François Papineau will play the colonel whom he succeeds on an interim basis, and Ève Landry, a military policewoman with whom he will investigate the affair, which seems to hide something much bigger…
The first season will consist of 24 episodes. Filming began on Monday.
