Weak mobilization for purchasing power in Orléans

The issue of purchasing power was at the heart of a new day of interprofessional mobilization this Thursday, March 17. In Orleans, 350 demonstrators marched in the streets at the call of the unions CGT and Unsa (National Union of Autonomous Unions). This call to strike follows the day of mobilization on January 27, when 170 rallies and parades were organized all over France at the call of the CGT, FO, FSU and Solidaires unions and youth organizations around purchasing power. In the face of rising energy costs, inflation and fuel prices, protesters have called for renewed increasing salaries, student grants and pensions for retirees.
