Celebrate the bicentenary of Louis Pasteur with the University of Franche-Comté, Saturday July 2, 2022

On the occasion of bicentenary of Louis PasteurFrance Bleu Besançon and the University of Franche-Comté invite you to ask yourself about your relationship to science and research of today inherited from the discoveries of the 19th century.
From scientist to researcher, from scientific controversies to media polemics, the figure of Pasteur will be the gateway to questioning the figure of the researcher from every angle, from cliché to fantasy, from model to genius!

– “Where is Mary”, a space dedicated to women in science and in particular to Marie Pasteur;
– of the stalls : Virology, environment, microbiology, hygiene and health…;
– of the workshops for young and old to learn about science: botanical herbarium, games on human and nature interactions;
– Selfie 19th century version: a photography workshop will be made available with period accessories;
Exhibitions : guided tours of the Scientific Heritage of the 19th Century exhibition, of the collections of the University of Franche-Comté;
