Guest of the “4 Truths” on Friday, Stéphane Séjourné notably mentioned the next files on which the government and parliamentarians must work.

A ninth day of mobilization took place in France, Thursday, March 23, against the pension reform. The use of 49.3 by the government and the television interview with the President of the Republic seem to have stirred up anger. “We are at a time when we will have to provide political solutions, including in a political situation which is unprecedented under the Fifth Republic, where the National Assembly is in a relative majority”reacted Stéphane Séjourné, secretary general of “Renaissance”, guest of “4 Truths” of France 2, Friday.

“Expand this majority as much as possible”

How does the presidential majority want to work on its next laws? “It will probably be necessary to work on the texts upstream, perhaps to co-construct them better upstream, to make shorter texts. We are thinking about being able to widen this majority as much as possible”concludes Stéphane Séjourné.

He mentions in particular several files, “on working better, on working right. Then there will be subjects on ecology, subjects on methodology too, there will probably have to be an element on institutional reform”.
