Guest of 12/13 info, Friday March 22, Jacques Dallest, honorary attorney general and author of “Cold cases, a magistrate investigates”, discusses the new expert opinions ordered by the courts in the case of little Grégory.

Justice has just ordered new expertise in the case of little Grégory, granting a request from the parents of the little boy who disappeared 40 years ago. New DNA comparisons will notably be carried out. “DNA is something very resistant, but it is not indestructible. So we will have to see if biology, currently, allows us to rework on the cords which were used to bind the child, on his anorak, to know if we can highlight this famous DNA, which is not certain”explains Jacques Dallest, honorary attorney general and author of Cold cases, a magistrate investigates (editions Mareuil), in the 12/13 info of Friday March 22.

“It’s a good thing that justice accepts these requests”

Justice also requested a feasibility study of vocal expertise of the crow’s recordings. “These are necessary acts, which have been requested. I think it is a good thing that justice accepts these requests”believes Jacques Dallest. “We should not necessarily expect miracles either. There will not be a name that will come out after these assessments if they are carried out”however, qualifies the honorary attorney general.
